Configuring your VPN
(Windows XP).
1. Go to
Start>Settings>Control Panel.
Double
click the
Network Connections
icon.
In new
window that opens click
Create a New Connection.
2. A
set-up wizard opens, click
Next
3. Choose
Connect to the network at my workplace
& click
Next
4. Choose
Virtual Private Network Connection
& click
Next
5. Type any name you
want to refer it with, example VPN & click Next
6. IP Address:
80.227.56.38
Click Next
7.
Click
Finish
8. The connection
window opens automatically, Select
Properties
9. Select
Security
tab, & click on the
Settings
button.
10. Data encryption:
No
Encryption allowed
Allow these protocols:
CHAP
&
MS-CHAP v2
Click OK
11. Choose
Networking
tab.
Type of VPN:
PPTP VPN
Click OK
12. Enter Username:
vpn
Password :
vpn
Click
Connect
13. Once the
connection is established another network icon should
appear in the task bar.
You have now
configured your VPN!
